PlayWrite has been building resilience, creativity and success in the lives of Portland's 'youth at the edge' since 2003. Adolescence represents a critical window of opportunity for positive change through intervention. Through their partnership with a one-on-one PlayWrite coach and a patented curriculum of exercises involving movement, memory, and theatre, workshop partipants create and direct their own unique plays, based on the emotions of their authentic life experiences. Our graduates speak - years later - of the impact our workshop had on their lives.
